Vertiv expands manufacturing capacity in Slovakia

Vertiv has announced a major expansion of its manufacturing campus in Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Slovakia. Over the next 18 to 24 months, the company plans to add approximately 22,000 square meters of new manufacturing space to the facility.

The expansion is designed to increase production capacity for power, switchgear, and thermal management technologies, including advanced liquid cooling solutions tailored for high-density artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing applications. The project aims to transform the site into a highly integrated technology campus to improve supply chain resilience and responsiveness within the EMEA region.

Paul Ryan, president of Vertiv in EMEA, stated that the investment is a response to the increasing demand for critical digital infrastructure and the rapid adoption of AI. The initiative is expected to create hundreds of new jobs across manufacturing, engineering, operations, and leadership roles between 2027 and 2029.
