Vertiv opens new Johor plant to boost AI infrastructure manufacturing in Asia
Vertiv has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Senai, Johor, Malaysia. The 21,900‑square‑metre plant will produce advanced power, cooling and integrated infrastructure solutions for AI and high‑density computing, supporting customers in Southeast Asia, North Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Vertiv CEO Giordano Albertazzi said the investment “strengthens the company’s ability to deliver critical infrastructure with greater speed, scale, quality and resilience as AI computing requirements continue to grow.” The site features automated production lines, comprehensive testing and ISO‑compliant quality controls. Vertiv expects the plant to create up to 500 skilled jobs by 2027, reinforcing Johor’s role as a digital‑infrastructure hub.
