Verucchio police investigate death of Albanian man in parking lot

Authorities in Verucchio are investigating the death of a 34-year-old Albanian man whose body was discovered Wednesday night in the parking lot of the Vision Club, near the San Marino border.

Surveillance footage from a nearby bar reportedly shows the victim arriving in a car and remaining in the vehicle for several minutes before falling heavily to the ground. The Rimini Prosecutor's Office has ordered an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death, as it remains unclear whether the fall was caused by a sudden medical emergency, an accidental loss of balance, or an assault. The victim, who had recently moved to Italy to work as a bricklayer, was not a local resident.
