VeryDarkMan criticizes Pastor Arome Osayi over US relocation

Social media activist VeryDarkMan has criticized Pastor Arome Osayi following the announcement that the preacher and his wife have secured permanent residence in the United States.

VeryDarkMan argued that Osayi’s teachings, which emphasize Nigeria’s national calling as religious revival rather than technological or industrial advancement, are detrimental to the country's progress. The activist claimed that such rhetoric encourages Nigerian youth to rely on prayer instead of creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving.

In his critique, VeryDarkMan suggested that religious institutions, including both churches and mosques, have contributed to Nigeria’s lack of development by conditioning citizens to seek miracles rather than utilizing their intellectual capacity for industrial growth. He further pointed out the contradiction in the pastor relocating his family to a nation built on technology and innovation after previously downplaying the importance of such advancements compared to spiritual revival.
