Veselin Vujović analyzes Slovenian and Croatian handball prospects

Handball expert Veselin Vujović has shared his analysis regarding the current state of national handball teams in the Balkan region. He expressed high expectations for the Slovenian national team, noting their success in younger age categories as a sign of long-term quality and predicting a potential breakthrough at the next World Championship.

Regarding the Croatian national team, Vujović commented on their recent successes, including a World Championship silver and a European Championship bronze. While acknowledging these achievements, he suggested they were aided by significant luck, specifically citing favorable tournament draws and opponents' mistakes, such as Hungary's performance in a recent quarterfinal. However, he credited coach Dagur Sigurdsson with expanding the player base and maintaining good communication with the squad.

Vujović also touched upon the situation in Montenegro, noting a leadership crisis due to frequent coaching changes, and provided brief observations on the Serbian national team's recent performances.
