Vespa announces limited Primavera 80th anniversary edition

Piaggio Group Japan has announced the ‘Vespa Primavera 80th’, the third special edition model celebrating the 80th anniversary of Vespa. Following the GTS 80th and Sprint 80th models, this limited release is available for order starting September 25, 2026, with shipments expected in November 2026.

The Primavera 80th features a unique ‘Verde 80th’ pastel green color, derived from historical color codes used in the 1940s. The design incorporates several commemorative details, including matte-finish accents on the mirrors, grab handles, and suspension covers to contrast with the glossy body. It also features custom wheels inspired by the original 1946 Vespa 98, engraved with ‘Est. 1946’.

Technical specifications include a 174cc air-cooled four-stroke SOHC 3-valve engine. Only 30 units will be available in Japan, priced at 632,500 yen.
