Vespa Primavera 80th limited edition announced in Japan
Piaggio Group Japan has commenced orders for the Vespa Primavera 80th, the third special edition model released to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Vespa brand. The limited release is restricted to 30 units in Japan, with shipments expected to begin in November 2026.
The model features a unique “Verde 80th” pastel green color, derived from historical color codes from the 1940s to honor the brand's early single-color models. Design elements include wheels inspired by the original 1946 Vespa 98, featuring a closed-center classic style with “Est. 1946” diamond-cut lettering on the rims.
Other commemorative details include tone-on-tone dark green accents on the mirrors, grab rails, and suspension components, along with specialized “80th” emblems on the front shield and glove box. The scooter is powered by a 174cc air-cooled four-stroke SOHC 3-valve engine. The retail price is set at 632,500 yen.
