Vespa scooter selection guide for beginners

Choosing a first Vespa scooter involves evaluating technical parameters such as engine capacity, weight, and seat height to match individual needs. For models with an engine capacity up to 50 cm³, drivers who turned 18 before January 19, 2013, may only require an ID card, while those who reached adulthood after that date must hold an AM category license or higher.

For 125 cm³ models, drivers must possess an A1, A2, A, or B category license for at least three years. The Vespa Primavera is frequently recommended for beginners due to its maneuverability, low mass, and intuitive handling, making it suitable for urban environments.
