Veszprém hospital launches health literacy lecture series

A new lecture series titled ‘Tudd. Lásd. Értsd.’ (Know. See. Understand.) is launching at the Veszprém hospital to improve health literacy. Organized by Dr. Zsolt Cselik, head of the radiotherapy department, and applied health psychologist Dr. Bernadett Ildikó Gál, the program aims to help individuals navigate the complex healthcare system.

The organizers emphasize that health literacy involves the ability to understand, process, and use health-related information to make informed decisions. This includes recognizing risk factors and understanding how to use digital resources and artificial intelligence responsibly to manage personal health and access services.
