Hungarian towns host a series of cultural festivals and exhibitions in June‑July 2026

Budaörs will show the Hungarian romantic comedy “Szenvedélyes nők” at the Jókai Mór Community House on July 28. In Kecskemét, the Szórakaténusz Toy Museum and Workshop runs a month of crafts and play‑making sessions for children. Veszprém’s Rozé, Rizling, Jazz Festival returns from July 10‑19 with a larger wine village, later‑starting concerts and an on‑site screening of the football World Cup final. The Kabóciádé Family Festival in Veszprém runs June 26‑28, offering puppet‑theatre, concerts, workshops and a night‑time adventure trail. Szeged’s Wagner Udvar opens a second “Találkozások II” outdoor exhibition of contemporary sculpture by artists from its twin city Temesvár, on view through August 23. Csongrád hosts a memorial exhibition “Életút” honoring sculptor Tóth Béla, featuring his work and that of his family. In Szatmárnémeti, Romania, photographer Matécsa Elemér István presents “Elsüllyedt világ”, a photo show of the now‑flooded Parajd salt mine. All events are free to the public and scheduled through late summer.
