Nino Botta, veteran journalist, passes away

Journalist Nino Botta has passed away following a serious illness. He was approaching his 83rd birthday in December.

Originally from Taranto, Botta was a dedicated professional who pivoted from a law degree to a career in journalism. He worked for the former newspaper Corriere del Giorno, where he was noted for his coverage of local football and his ability to vividly narrate sporting events. His career also included work for Quotidianoe and local television broadcasting.
