Veterinarian Murat Akıncı launches livestock production in Erzurum

Murat Akıncı, a veterinarian graduated from Ankara University in 2019, has transitioned into livestock production in the Oltu district of Erzurum. Utilizing the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry’s ‘Kırsalda Bereket, Hayvancılığa Destek Projesi’ (Abundance in Rural Areas, Support for Livestock Project), Akıncı acquired 30 breeder beef cattle in June to begin his production efforts.

Akıncı operates a modern barn where he applies scientific methods and his professional medical expertise to manage the health and care of his animals. In addition to his own production enterprise, he continues to provide medical treatment to sick animals within the district.
