Veterinary and pet industry trade fairs announce growth and rebranding

The veterinary sector is seeing significant expansion through major industry trade fairs in Paraguay and Spain.

In Asunción, Paraguay, the fourth edition of ExpoVet is projected to generate approximately USD 19.5 million in business. The event, scheduled for November 3 and 4 at the Paseo La Galería Event Center, expects to host 50 companies and over 4,000 professionals. The exhibition space has been expanded to 2,180 square meters to accommodate equipment, medical supplies, and animal nutrition. New features include an employment wall to connect clinics with professionals and a pet-friendly area for visitors.

In Spain, the professional pet industry fair formerly known as Iberzoo Propet is rebranding as Iberpet. Director Félix Pérez-Fajardo stated the name change reflects the sector's evolution, focusing on business, knowledge, and internationalization. Following a previous edition that hosted 21,000 professional visitors and 302 companies, the next Iberpet event is scheduled for March 10–12, 2027, with 90% of the exhibition space already reserved.
