Vetëvendosje maintains presidential agreement with LDK remains valid

Artan Abrashi, a deputy for the Vetëvendosje Movement, stated that the agreement reached with the LDK regarding the presidency remains valid. This follows a move by six LDK deputies to oppose the arrangement, an action Abrashi described as unexpected and detrimental to the current political phase.

Abrashi expressed hope that a forthcoming meeting between leaders Albin Kurti and Edi Rama (or relevant party leaders) will clarify the situation and provide a solution to avoid unnecessary elections. While no specific time for this meeting has been set, Abrashi emphasized a willingness to continue consultations and maintain contact with other political parties to resolve the impasse.
