Vetëvendosje movement secures leadership of eight parliamentary commissions

The Vetëvendosje movement has presented its nominations for representatives within 16 parliamentary commissions to the Assembly. Following an agreement reached by the Assembly Presidency, 16 commissions will consist of 11 members each, with the exception of the Commission for Community Rights, Interests, and Return, which will have 12 members.

Vetëvendosje will lead eight of these commissions. Key leadership appointments include Enver Haliti for the Budget Commission, Vigan Qorrolli for the Legislation Commission, Arbëreshë Kryeziu-Hyseni for the Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Commission, Arsim Ademi for the Environment Commission, Mefail Bajqinovci for the Security and Defense Commission, Fatmire Mulhaxha-Kollçaku for the Human Rights Commission, Nezir Kraki for the Culture, Tourism, Sport, and Youth Commission, and Arton Konushevci for the Social Welfare Commission. These proposals were voted on and approved during the Assembly session to form the new composition of the parliamentary committees.
