Vezeeta and Eva Pharma partner to support obesity and diabetes patients

Vezeeta, a digital healthcare platform in the Middle East and Africa, has announced a strategic partnership with the Egyptian pharmaceutical company Eva Pharma. The collaboration aims to create an integrated digital pathway to support patients suffering from obesity and diabetes.

Through the ‘My Journey Beyond Weight’ initiative, Vezeeta will provide a smart link to connect patients with a network of certified doctors and nutritionists. This digital infrastructure utilizes telemedicine technologies to allow patients to access medical consultations and nutritional follow-ups remotely, reducing the need for physical travel.

To support the patient journey, Eva Pharma has launched a fully funded initiative to cover the costs of medical consultations for beneficiaries using this digital pathway. The partnership aligns with Egypt Vision 2030 goals regarding sustainable development and digital transformation in the healthcare sector, specifically targeting the management of chronic non-communicable diseases.
