Vezzano reconstruction: 600,000 euros allocated for demolitions
Authorities have allocated 600,000 euros for the demolition of public and private buildings in the Vezzano district of Arquata del Tronto. The Marche Region Reconstruction Special Office will manage the operations.
These demolitions are considered a strategic step to eliminate existing hazards and clear space for essential public works. The planned interventions include hydrogeological risk mitigation, the construction of retaining walls, the widening of the road connecting to the S.P. 129, and the installation of underground utilities.
Extraordinary Commissioner Guido Castelli stated that the demolitions are an indispensable preliminary phase to make the reconstruction of the district possible. The goal is to restore safety and functionality to the area, allowing for subsequent private and public building projects to proceed.
