VfB Stuttgart bans luxury cars at training facilities

Following a disappointing start to the Bundesliga season with only six points from six matches, VfB Stuttgart management has implemented new regulations for professional players. Players are now formally instructed to use official club vehicles from Mercedes and Porsche when arriving at training facilities, rather than private luxury cars such as Ferraris, McLarens, or Rolls-Royce Cullinans.

This decision is driven by both commercial and strategic interests. Mercedes-Benz Group AG and Porsche AG each hold more than ten percent of the shares in VfB Stuttgart 1893 AG and seek appropriate representation. Additionally, club leadership aims to redirect the players' focus toward sporting success rather than personal luxury. Failure to comply with these new parking rules may result in significant financial penalties.

In tandem with these off-field changes, head coach Sebastian Hoeneß has intensified training sessions. To improve team discipline and performance, training now includes longer, more physically demanding sessions, such as diagonal runs across the pitch and increased emphasis on individual duels and ball contention.
