VHP chief Alok Kumar dismisses Digvijay Singh's allegations on Ram Temple ceremony

Congress leader Digvijay Singh claimed there were irregularities in the prana‑pratishtha of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the chadhave of the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) president Alok Kumar responded that Singh offered no evidence or scriptural references and said the rituals were performed after consultation with scholars and at an auspicious time. Kumar called Singh's statements misleading and condemned any theft of temple funds, urging that those responsible be punished. He also cited a video from RSS senior Dattatreya Hosbale, urging the Hindu community to remain calm and reject attempts to malign it.
