VI Maratona de Monólogos registration ends August 23

Registration for the VI Maratona de Monólogos – Em Cena Elas concludes on August 23. The event is scheduled to take place from October 19 to 24 at the Teatro Municipal de Canela.

Artists and producers can submit productions for free through an online form. The marathon features two categories: University, for students enrolled in higher education in Rio Grande do Sul, and State, for artists and companies based in the state. This edition prioritizes works featuring women to increase female visibility and representation in the performing arts.

Selected monologues will include up to four for the University Competitive Showcase and up to 25 for the State Competitive Showcase. Productions must be between 15 and 30 minutes in duration.
