Viña del Mar prepares security deployment for Fiestas Patrias

The Municipality of Viña del Mar is implementing an extensive security deployment to ensure safety during the upcoming Fiestas Patrias celebrations. Mayor Macarena Ripamonti announced the installation of a temporary police station and segregated access points for the Fiesta Criolla, which will take place at the Valparaíso Sporting Club from September 17 to 20.

The security strategy involves a coordinated effort between municipal public security teams, Carabineros, the PDI, and the Maritime Police. Operations will include patrols across both the city center and the hills, as well as monitoring at critical locations such as the bus terminal to manage the influx of thousands of expected visitors.
