Via Vino festival promotes Zagreb County wine and gastronomy

The Via Vino festival, organized by the Zagreb County Tourist Board, was held at the Dobra Berba winery in Sveta Jana. The event aimed to connect local winemakers and restaurateurs with visitors to showcase the regional identity through wine tastings and local gastronomy.

Emphasis was placed on sustainable event management. According to a survey of 123 visitors, the importance of sustainability was rated highly at 4.75 out of 5. While cars remain the primary mode of transport, 72% of those arriving by vehicle traveled in groups of three or more, and nearly 10% utilized public transportation.

Ivana Alilović, Director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board, stated that the initiative seeks to introduce guests to the people behind the wines and the environment in which they are produced, while fostering new collaborations for local hosts.
