Viala-du-Tarn to host jazz workshop in September

A jazz workshop is scheduled to take place in Viala-du-Tarn from September 11 to 13 as part of the Festival Jazz et Polar. Led by David Pautric, the program includes workshops focused on interpretation, phrasing, style, and cohesion through large orchestra, group, and sectional sessions.

The workshop emphasizes improvisation to prepare participants for a concluding concert on Sunday. Additionally, a jam session organized by Fred Schneider of Avey’Road studio will be held on Friday evening at Héron des Raspes. The event also features a performance by the Virginie Barral Quintet on Saturday night.
