Viana do Alentejo and Seia boost school activity notebook program

The municipality of Viana do Alentejo will distribute activity notebooks to pupils enrolled in the local school group and to students from the municipality who attend schools elsewhere and lack a local provision. Families that purchase the notebooks can apply for reimbursement by presenting a proof of purchase to municipal services.

Seia municipality announced an expansion of its support for the 2026‑2027 school year, extending the provision of activity notebooks to all basic‑education students, including those in the third cycle. The town will continue a €35 subsidy for school‑material purchases for students in the first and second social‑action tiers. Reimbursements will be available from 3 August at local stationery shops, subject to documentation from parents or guardians.
