Viana do Castelo hosts 15th Iberian Land Rover Meeting

The 15th edition of the Iberian Land Rover Meeting (EILR) concluded at the INATEL campsite in Praia do Cabedelo, Viana do Castelo. Organized by the LandMania Clube de Portugal with support from the Viana do Castelo Municipality, the event drew approximately 4,000 participants and 1,200 Land Rover vehicles from Portugal, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Brazil.

Beyond the vehicle gathering, the event functioned as a culture and leisure festival, featuring over 50 musical and artistic performances, including concerts and street parades. A highlight of the gathering was the official presentation of 'Muddy', an Iberian Lynx, as the club's new mascot.

Luís Jerónimo, president of the LandMania Clube de Portugal, described the edition as the most complex in the club's history due to the massive logistics required for infrastructure, catering, and leisure areas. The next Iberian Land Rover Meeting is scheduled to return to Viana do Castelo from September 8 to 10, 2028.
