Viana do Castelo hosts music festivals and rescheduled Romaria d’Agonia

Viana do Castelo is hosting several major cultural events. The 9th edition of Viana Bate Forte will take place on September 11 and 12, featuring 15 artists across three stages in the city's historic center. Performers include Santos & Pecadores, UHF, David Fonseca, Lena d’Água, and Expensive Soul. The event, promoted by the Viana do Castelo City Council, offers free admission and aims to integrate diverse audiences through various musical styles.

Additionally, the Serenata da Romaria d’Agonia, which concludes the local festivities, has been rescheduled to midnight on Saturday, August 29, following previous delays caused by bad weather. A Folklore Festival is also set to take place at Praça da Liberdade at 10:00 PM on the same night.
