Viana do Castelo to host Europe's largest Land Rover event

The 15th edition of the Encontro Ibérico Land Rover, the largest Land Rover event in continental Europe, is scheduled to take place from September 4 to 6 at Praia do Cabedelo in Viana do Castelo, Portugal.

Organized by LandMania – Clube de Portugal, the event expects record-breaking attendance with approximately 2,863 participants, including 543 children, and 1,045 Land Rover vehicles arriving from six different countries. The gathering will be hosted at the INATEL campsite, which will feature the ‘Aldeia do Ibérico,’ a central area containing exhibitors, street food, and regional products.

The three-day program includes off-road obstacle tracks, technical workshops, and environmental missions such as acacia removal. Entertainment highlights include musical performances, comedy shows, and a monumental parade through the streets of Viana do Castelo on Sunday, which will conclude with a group drone photograph.
