Vianney defends Star Academy guest selection amid social media criticism

Singer Vianney, the godfather of the current Star Academy season, has responded to social media criticism regarding the musical lineup for the upcoming live broadcast on Saturday, October 24.

Following the announcement of the guest list, a video from an Instagram user went viral, garnering approximately 150,000 views. The critic expressed disappointment over a perceived lack of diversity in musical styles, arguing the selection was too focused on French variety music and lacked emerging artists.

Vianney defended his choices, noting that the programming is a personal selection. He highlighted the return of artist Zazie, noting it has been three years since she performed on the show, and expressed confidence in the artistic impact of guests Clara Ysé and Helena.
