Vianney reportedly named godfather for Star Academy 2026

French singer Vianney is reportedly set to become the godfather for the 2026 season of Star Academy. Following the previous season's godparents, Ed Sheeran and Charlotte Cardin, the production is expected to pivot toward a more consistent presence throughout the season, similar to the role held by Vitaa in 2023.

The upcoming edition is expected to undergo significant structural changes. Director Michaël Goldman is slated to depart, along with several faculty members including Marlène Schaff, Lucie Bernardoni, and Papy. The new season is anticipated to return to television in the autumn.
