Vianney to serve as godfather for Star Academy's next season

French singer Vianney has announced that he will serve as the godfather for the upcoming season of the television competition Star Academy on TF1. He shared this professional update via social media, noting that his focus has been elsewhere due to personal news.

In addition to his role with the show, Vianney revealed that he is expecting a new child. He shared the news from a maternity ward, stating, “I would have liked to be more creative in the form to announce this to you, but my mind is elsewhere because I am writing to you from the maternity ward.”

Vianney, who previously served as a coach on The Voice, succeeds Ed Sheeran and Charlotte Cardin as the program's godfather. The new season of Star Academy, produced by Endemol France, is expected to launch in October under the direction of Mosimann.
