Viaplay Group updates Allente TV platform with new user interface

Viaplay Group has launched a modernized user interface for its Allente service, the leading pay-TV provider in the Nordic region. The updated experience, which went live in early August, is powered by the 3Ready platform from 3 Screen Solutions (3SS).

The new interface introduces three distinct Experience Modes designed to cater to different viewing habits: a Live-TV mode for traditional broadcasting, an On-Demand mode for streaming services, and a Kids mode that provides age-appropriate content with built-in filters. The platform aggregates various streaming services, including Viaplay, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max, and SkyShowtime, allowing users to search and manage favorites centrally.

To support this technological upgrade, Viaplay is offering subscribers a new set-top box from SDMC featuring a 4 TOPS NPU AI, alongside a customizable remote control from t4h. Viaplay Group became the sole owner of Allente in 2025 following the acquisition of Telenor’s 50% stake for 1.1 billion SEK.
