Viareggio Carnival: Sketches submitted for 2027 platforms

Seven groups have submitted sketches for the six available aggregate platforms, known as ‘carette’, for the 2027 Viareggio Carnival. The applicants include various combinations of associations and local districts, such as the CarnevalDarsena-Burlamatti duo and the CarnevalPuccini association with WikiCarnevalediViareggio.

The Project Examination Commission will now evaluate the proposals based on a 70-point scoring system. Criteria include social aggregation activities, cultural promotion, artistic quality of sketches and costumes, and historical participation in official Carnival events. The final selection of the six participating platforms will be determined by the Board of Directors.
