Viareggio residents report illegal dumping and environmental hazards

Illegal dumping and environmental degradation have been reported in the area between Carbonaie and Morina in Viareggio. Large quantities of waste, including construction debris, electrical cables, furniture, and even a boat and a car, have been abandoned in ditches and along roadsides near the highway.

Local residents have expressed concern that the presence of electrical cables in the water could lead to the release of harmful substances, potentially causing an environmental disaster. Despite signs indicating the area is under video surveillance, the waste remains unaddressed.
