Viatris and Long Chau launch dyslipidemia management campaign

Viatris Vietnam and the Long Chau Pharmacy and Vaccination System have launched a collaborative campaign titled “Cooperation in Community Dyslipidemia Management.” The initiative aims to improve the detection and management of dyslipidemia, a condition often identified only after serious complications arise.

The program focuses on professional training, community health education, and coordination with medical associations. Approximately 1,000 Long Chau pharmacists will receive specialized training to enhance their ability to identify risks, provide counseling, and support treatment adherence for chronic patients.

Radhika Bhalla, General Manager of Viatris Vietnam and Asia Alliance Markets, stated that improving treatment outcomes requires not just medication, but also health knowledge and empowered healthcare workers. Nguyen Do Quyen, Deputy General Director of FPT Retail and CEO of Long Chau, emphasized the growing importance of community pharmacists in helping citizens prevent and manage chronic diseases.
