VIB launches Front Arena trading system on AWS in Vietnam

Vietnam International Bank (VIB) has officially launched its core system for capital markets, foreign exchange, and financial market trading using the Front Arena platform from FIS Global. This system is operating on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure, making VIB the first bank in Vietnam to run Front Arena on AWS.

The implementation aligns with VIB’s ‘Cloud-First’ strategy for critical systems. The new trading system is designed to expand transaction processing capacity, increase automation, and enhance real-time risk management. By utilizing the Front Arena platform, which manages the entire transaction lifecycle from execution to post-trade processing, the bank aims to reduce manual data entry and reconciliation while enabling faster decision-making and higher control over larger transaction volumes.
