Vibo Marina faces neglect despite 240,000 euro revenue from fines

Antonio Schiavello, leader of the Fratelli d'Italia group in the Vibo Valentia City Council, has criticized the local administration for allegedly neglecting the coastal district of Vibo Marina. Schiavello pointed out that the district has generated approximately 240,000 euros through traffic fines and paid parking fees, yet receives minimal services in return.

According to Schiavello, the area suffers from a lack of basic maintenance, such as repainting pedestrian crossings, and faces significant traffic issues. He noted that despite a unanimous council approval for time-limited parking zones last May, the measure has yet to be implemented, leaving the seaside promenade congested with vehicles.
