Vibo Valentia administration defends new municipal security services
The administration of Vibo Valentia, led by Mayor Enzo Romeo, has issued a formal response to criticisms made by municipal councilor Antonella Petracca regarding the implementation of a new porterage and passive surveillance service at Palazzo Luigi Razza.
The administration defended the decision to move away from old internal systems, stating that managing access and security for the municipality, employees, and users requires specialized, professional personnel rather than outdated practices. The move is part of a broader reorganization of the municipal bureaucracy, which includes the introduction of employee identification badges and staff rotation to comply with anti-corruption directives.
