Vibo Valentia hosts ninth Festival del Sud at Valentianum
The ninth edition of the Festival del Sud – Valentia in Festa has commenced at the Valentianum monumental complex in Vibo Valentia. Promoted by the Fondazione Valentia, the cultural event aims to integrate the promotion of local agro-food excellence with the preservation of historical heritage and the rural landscape of the province.
In collaboration with the Distretto del Cibo, the festival features a dedicated space for tasting local specialties. Participating companies have provided free tastings of traditional products, including wine, ‘nduja, and various preserves, to showcase the gastronomic identity of the Vibonese rural area. The initiative seeks to create synergies between cultural promotion and local entrepreneurial activities.
