Vibo Valentia launches free domestic composting training program

The municipality of Vibo Valentia has launched a series of free training sessions focused on domestic composting. Organized by the Environment Department in collaboration with Muraca srl, the initiative aims to promote environmental sustainability by teaching residents how to transform organic waste and pruning residues into high-quality natural fertilizer.

Participants who attend the seminars and have access to private gardens or green areas will receive a free 360-liter composter and are eligible for a reduction in their waste tax (TARI). The training sessions are scheduled to take place on Saturdays between October and November at the Vibo Valentia multi-functional center.
