Vibo Valentia mourns the passing of notary Giampiero Monteleone

The community of Vibo Valentia and surrounding areas is mourning the death of notary Giampiero Monteleone, who passed away at the age of 70 in Lamezia Terme. Monteleone, originally from Cessaniti, had been hospitalized since August due to serious respiratory pathologies. His condition had recently worsened, leading to a transfer to Villa Rachele before his passing.

Monteleone was widely respected in the region for his professionalism, discretion, and kindness. Those close to him described him as an example of “refined gentility.” His health and professional activity had notably declined following the death of his wife, Ernestina Pasquale, in February 2025.

Funeral services are scheduled to take place in Vibo Valentia on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
