Vibo Valentia opposition demands administration resignation over lost school funding

The opposition group Cuore Vibonese has called for the dismissal of the local administration in Vibo Valentia following the loss of a €150,000 ministerial grant. The funds, intended for the installation of an elevator at the Buccarelli school to remove architectural barriers, were reportedly lost because a certified email (PEC) requiring document integration went unread.

Opposition councilors Giuseppe Cutrullà, Danilo Tucci, Giuseppe Russo, and Giuseppe Calabria expressed indignation, stating the incident reflects a lack of planning and organizational capacity within the current administration. They emphasized that the loss of these resources deprives the school and the community of a vital opportunity to improve accessibility and inclusivity.
