Vibo Valentia Police receive 46 new officers to boost security

The Vibo Valentia Police Headquarters is receiving significant reinforcements with the arrival of 45 new agents and one deputy inspector. The new personnel were welcomed on August 26 by Police Chief Rodolfo Ruperti, along with other officials.

The deployment aims to strengthen investigative services, prevention, and territorial control within the province. A portion of the new staff is specifically designated for the establishment of the new Public Security Commissioner's Office in Tropea.

In Tropea, a major tourist hub in Calabria, the new officers will initially work alongside existing personnel to enhance surveillance and prevention efforts. This reinforcement is intended to address the increased security demands brought by high tourist volumes during the summer season, particularly in the city center and high-traffic areas.
