Vibo Valentia Prefecture coordinates reuse of assets seized from organized crime

The Prefecture of Vibo Valentia has convened a meeting of its Support Nucleus to accelerate the social reuse and economic valorization of assets confiscated from organized crime. Prefect Anna Aurora Colosimo led the operational meeting, which aimed to monitor and support ongoing projects intended to transform seized properties into community resources.

Participants included representatives from the municipalities of Vibo Valentia, Limbadi, and Nicotera, as well as the association Libera, law enforcement, and various third-sector entities. The discussion focused on verifying the implementation status of funded projects and identifying shared solutions to overcome critical issues that have delayed previous initiatives.

The meeting emphasized strengthening synergies between local institutions and the third sector to facilitate the management and revitalization of these properties, ensuring they serve as concrete tools for legality and regional development.
