Vibo Valentia school principal denounces inadequate facilities
The principal of the Bruzzano school in Vibo Valentia, Mimma Cacciatore, has raised formal complaints regarding inadequate educational spaces for over one hundred students. In communications sent to Mayor Enzo Romeo and the Prefect, Cacciatore noted that the current building in Piazza del Lavoro was not designed to meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education or the specific needs of the student body.
A primary concern is the lack of a gymnasium or dedicated area for physical education. This deficiency forces students to remain seated in classrooms during scheduled motor activity periods, preventing teachers from fully conducting their curriculum. As a potential solution, the principal suggested utilizing spaces at the former Caserma Garibaldi.
