Vibo Valentia school suspends lessons due to rodent infestation

Lessons at the Murmura school in Vibo Valentia have been suspended following reports of rodents within the building. The school is currently operating out of a temporary location at Palazzo Gemini along the Statale 18.

The decision to halt educational activities was made as a precaution to allow for necessary deratization and sanitization procedures to restore hygienic conditions. Rodent presence had also been reported previously in the same building, which also houses the local employment center offices.

Authorities are now focused on completing the cleaning and pest control interventions to determine when students can safely return to their classrooms.
