Viborg HK targets key handball transfers

Viborg HK is reportedly working to strengthen its squad for the upcoming season through several significant player acquisitions. The club is in talks to sign playmaker Line Berggren from København Håndbold. Berggren has established herself as one of the Kvindeligaen’s most effective chance creators, recording 153 assists in the previous season.

Additionally, Viborg HK is expected to secure Verona Rexhepi from Ringkøbing Håndbold. Rexhepi, who was named Ringkøbing’s player of the year last season, is currently leading both the MEP and top scorer lists in the Bambuni Kvindeligaen. Her arrival would help address the vacancy left by Jana Mittún, who is moving to Nykøbing Falster Håndbold.

In a separate confirmed move, Viborg HK has secured Danish national team player Sofie Bardrum, who returns to the club following stints in Romania and Slovenia.
