Vibra Energia expands fuel network and appoints agribusiness director

Vibra Energia is experiencing a record expansion of its fuel station network, adding 385 new branded stations in the first half of the year. This growth nearly matches the 404 stations opened throughout the entirety of last year.

Company executives attribute this momentum to a combination of internal strategies—including the use of artificial intelligence and data—and a broader market shift toward formalization. Following investigations into tax evasion and illegalities in the sector, such as ‘Operação Carbono Oculto’, there has been a migration of volume toward major formal distributors like Vibra, Ultrapar, and Raízen.

To further its strategic goals, Vibra has appointed Marcio Trento as the new Commercial Director of Agribusiness. Trento, an agronomist with over 25 years of experience, is tasked with accelerating growth in the B2B segment and strengthening the company’s energy solutions for Brazil’s agricultural sector. This move follows a period where Vibra signed over 160 new B2B contracts in the first half of 2026.
