Vice President CP Radhakrishnan visits Deoghar for military welfare fair

Vice President CP Radhakrishnan visited Deoghar, Jharkhand, to attend the ‘Sadaiv Aapke Saath’ military outreach fair. Organized by the Indian Army in collaboration with the Deoghar district administration, the fair provided welfare services and grievance redressal facilities to veterans, ‘Veer Naris’ (war widows), and their dependents in the Santhal Pargana region.

During the event, the Vice President paid tribute to the sacrifices made by soldiers and their families. He highlighted the importance of veterans as a national resource whose experience can guide the youth. He also noted the implementation of the ‘One Rank, One Pension’ scheme and praised the single-window system at the fair for streamlining pension assistance, medical facilities, and documentation services.

Additionally, the Vice President’s visit included addressing the second convocation ceremony at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Deoghar.
