Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim visits Changhua to support DPP candidate

Taiwanese Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim visited Lukang, Changhua County, to pray for national peace and prosperity at local temples, including Lukang Beitou Fengtian Temple and Lukang Mazu Temple. During her visit, she emphasized the government's commitment to national security, protecting democracy, economic development, and the “balanced Taiwan” initiative to distribute resources more effectively to central and southern regions.

Accompanied by Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Changhua County Magistrate candidate Chen Su-yueh and several legislators, Hsiao also attended a support event for Chen. Hsiao praised Chen as a highly prepared candidate with extensive grassroots experience.

In her remarks, Chen Su-yueh addressed the challenges faced by women and new residents in Changhua. Chen pledged to improve social support systems to reduce the burden on women and proposed a “single window” administrative service to streamline support for the county's 25,000 new residents, covering labor, health, and education needs.
