Vice President Radhakrishnan visits INA Museum in Manipur

Vice President CP Radhakrishnan visited the Indian National Army (INA) Museum and War Memorial in Moirang, Bishnupur district, Manipur. During the visit, he paid tribute to the sacrifices of the INA soldiers who fought for independence under the leadership of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

The Moirang museum preserves historical artifacts including letters related to Netaji, rare photographs, military rank badges, and other items from the war. The site holds historical significance as the location where the INA flag was first hoisted on April 14, 1944.

Accompanied by Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Home Minister Kanthoujam Govindas Singh, and DGP Mukesh Singh, the Vice President arrived in Imphal as part of a tour of Northeast India covering Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, and Arunachal Pradesh. Following his time in Manipur, he is scheduled to travel to Arunachal Pradesh to attend a special session of the state assembly and visit various local sites.
